:KHII: Faith, Trust, and...

Pixie Dust. All you need to fly, to soar in the sky with the sun.

Gah.. spent so much time with this. ;_; Even more than that other Sora pic I did. >.< I mean, the first sketch I did of this took me 3 hours, and I spent another 3 hours coloring in Sora.. only to trash that pic and redraw it. >>; Guh.

Anyway, it's for a contest on the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania site. The theme was "Using any medium you wish, draw your favourite character(s) from the Kingdom Hearts Series on vacation in an interesting style." So I put Riku, Sora and Kairi in Neverland. =3 It takes place after KHII. I figured they'd need a place where they could just relax and be children again. =3 And then I felt bad for Roxas, so I stuck him and his friends there in the back. Yeah.

I haven't submitted this into the contest yet. It ends Thursday, the 31st. But there's still a lot of things in the picture I need to fix. =/ So some constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. One of my main questions is, should I keep the group in the back or erase them? I feel I didn't do my best on them, and I'm afraid that by putting them in, I might actually be making the pic look worse. =/ And some tips on how to make it look more like Neverland would help. I wanted to put Tink in there, but the rules for the contest said no Disney characters allowed, except for Mickey, Donald and Goofy. The background doesn't look great either. >.< So yeah...

Some help please. ;_;

Edit 8/30/06: Okay.. Worked on the background some more and fixed Kairi and Riku's wrists. I think. Also widened Riku's chest and added some reflective water light.. things. xP Hope it looks a bit better now. =3

Edit 8/30/06: Last edit, I think. I just went through and edited some things. =3 Reworked some of the outlines and added sparklies into the pixie dust. x3 I'm pretty sure that's it. I'm submitting it into the contest now. =3
